I hope our government leadership uses April to plan out how we start reopening businesses in waves with restrictions, but I fear that's putting too much faith in government to do the logical thing.
I grow more concerned every day that there going to push full lockdowns back into May.

Yep, many businesses will have to comply by social distancing, not shutdown mandates and due to the nature of business will remain closed.

The economic aftershocks are just now starting.
I personally havent spent a nickle on anything except bills in a month. Many others are doing the same. Theres a huge trickle down from that that's going to be shaking things up for a while.
I work in transportation and theres going to be a delay in those things getting to my market. It's coming and its gonna suck if we dont decide the cure is worse than the illness

People are conflating social distancing with lockdown.
The problem is that in some states the enforcement of social distancing turns it into a de facto lock down. The restaurants and bars stay closed, parks are closed because they become too crowded and even though there is no official lock down you have a situation where the only place you can go is the supermarket.
I understand it varies by state but there are places where violating social distancing gets you a 1k fine and possible jail time. Faced with that, and with nothing open anyway, it turns into a lock down order.
It depends entirely on how it's enforced.

You can’t have a hair salon, dine-in restaurant, non-emergency dental office, elective surgeries businesses open while having a social distancing order in place. Those are just a few examples

Correct. Friend of mine owns a small ship cruise business with over 300 employees and this thing just destroyed his business. He spent over 20 years building it up.
