It's been 2 weeks and the tone in all of this has already shifted.
Trump is already talking about suicides due to economic collapse.
People will not blindly support this indefinitely. as the economy crashes around them.
It won't happen.

Social distancing is being used in a lot of different contexts. The IHME models are based on "social distancing" being in place through August, but they're using that as defined by the New Zealand government alert system's level 4, which is stay at home orders and non-essential businesses closed.

Of course, but theres no indication of when that will happen. JBE has given no indication that I'm aware of for what his metric is for loosening up.
