For a million bucks, would you stand on the Thank God Ledge for an hour

Knowing my luck, I'd make it out there, stand there for an hour and then fall to my death trying to walk back and collect.

Sure. But I have been there, though roped, but I could stand there for an hour no problem, hell if I could sit I would stay all day for $500k per hour. The problem is you can't stand up straight backed and it would get pretty tiring after an hour if you weren't comfortable moving around. It is ~1600ft up the regular Northwest Face route on Half Dome in Yo Valley and gives a great view of the entirety of Yosemite Valley. Legendary climb.
The route was fairly easy when I did it 5.9 A1 with one night on the wall but there was a flake that exfoliated a few years years ago that requires a higher level aid or a serious free pitch and probably adds 2 hours to the climb if you are aiding.

This is a perfect gig lol. Earlier today a friend and I dorked out asking if we'd leave our family for a year for a million a month, but they couldn't know what happened in that year. You saw their torment but they lived it and you couldnt intervene. So... 'falling off' and hiding for 12 months, could ya?
