WTF was that all about? Anybody else remember that ?

My girlfriends dad bought some. I thought it was frickin' weird as shite.

I’m going to need a clear chain of custody before I eat random food products sold out of trucks. A fisherman selling shrimp in Cut Off or Chauvin would get some slack.

And Kirby vacuum cleaners. Had a guy try to sell me one in 2011. He left the vacuum with me overnight so I can see if I liked it but he never came back and picked it up

They were cheap but the product was a good reflection of the price. They looked like breakfast steaks to me.

At LSU in the 90’s the meat man sold weed too… at least that’s what I heard!

Pretty decent steak knives for the price and they last a while. I had a buddy sell these in high school to all his friends' parents and made a killing.

The steak baws got me once at the Commons in 02 or 03

I consider it a rite of passage for that time at LSU, like Waving Willie, AM Mart sandwiches, Sharlo pre DTL, and Mokeba.

The reason Cutco has withstood the test of time is because their product is quality. May not be worth the price, but they're legit knives with a lifetime warranty (that I hear is legit)

Had a guy come by the house Sunday afternoon selling steaks out of the back of his truck. About half an hour after another guy came by from Vivint wanting me to put cameras on our house. This happened about 2 hours after a group of religious fanatics from the Baptist church down the street came knocking on the door. It was a busy day.....

We had a Kirby salesman come to the house about 2 years ago and my Dad let the bastard in and had a 6 hour conversation with him LOL. I almost felt bad for the dude he wanted out of there sooooooo badly but Daddy wasn't having any of that BS.

I think that vacuum cleaner price started around $10K but after hour 5 or so hours I am pretty certain he'd have given us the damned thing if I would only make Daddy go to bed and leave the poor bastard alone.

We bought the full set of Cutco knives from a temporary kiosk at the mall right before covid.
Just had them sharpened over Christmas.
Great knives.
Keep band-aids close by.

Yes. Back when we were a proper country and could get some steaks, shrimp, car stereos, and window cleaner on the cheap fam.

Those people were hilarious.
