Nado Jenkins fail proof guide to having fun when flying

1. check all luggage except small electronics bag.
2. drink....a lot
3. wait until last moment to board aircraft.

if you follow these 3 rules you will not have half the misfortune most experience

The most efficient way to board a plane is not to have assigned seating at all

The Mythbusters seated a 173 passenger airplane in 14mins using that method

Well that would be great if every airport had lounges at every gate for first class passengers; however, that isn't the case. That's why first class wants to get on first....to give the flight attendant my jacket, get a drink, put my bag up, and stare at the peasants that walk by to the cheap seats.

Makes sense, but I personally don't want to board the most efficient plane on the planet because there are other downfalls.

I'd rather they quit letting people bring so much shite on board; check your shite and just carry one backpack size bag only on.

At least you're not fighting the employees on United.

Delta

I've found the problem...

JetBlue boards in groupings that go back to front. Mosaic customers (ie: people that fly a frickton) and those that purchase the Even More Room seatings get to board first (aside from those flying Standby it's all pre-assigned seating so you pick your seat from what's available when you purchase your ticket).

It's so much more efficient that it's ridiculous that other airlines aren't doing it too.

Then don't complain if you get hit with 15 backpacks and purses then. It's moronic.

I'm going to go out on a limb and propose that airlines aren't as stupid as some of you think and have spent thousands of dollars figuring out the best way to board their planes.

You may not understand why they board the way they do, but it's probably because you haven't spent nearly as much time on the question as airlines have.

And charge for carry-on luggage, but make checked luggage free.

Bingo. It would be Thunderdome if a plane full of average travelers were left to their own devices when boarding.

This is a dumb thing to be upset about when we still board first class passengers first.

If one airline would just change it up to where you begin boarding from the back of the plane, I would go that route every time I flew.

To clarify, I'm saying first class still boards first, but you physically board from the rear of the plane
