Boarding the BACK of the plane first makes a lot of sense

They used to do this. But then they had to make special categories for all the special people.

You are right!..then cut out the carry on's too.

I will never carry all that shite thru an airport. Pisses me off trying to walk around all that crap. Then it doesn't fit. They need help. It's all BS.

That why I check everything. I do also kick peoples luggage if they cut it too close and that shite impedes my walking.

Should board the back of the plane first.

Also make people pay for carry-ons, not checked.

I may be a tard for paying an extra 150 bucks to fly First Class but I rather be comfortable and have access to booze than deal with shitty kids and shitty people.

Boarding group numbers should be back of the plane to front

But airlines are incompetently run and inefficient which is why the government bailed them out

Why can't people just walk onto a plane and put their crap up and sit the F down?

The most efficient (move X people from airport to airplane the fastest) is the Southwest/LCC method of having everyone pick their own seats and lining up in order prior to boarding. I think the major carriers are trying to mimic that (as well as ensure elites have overhead bin space) by going to an obscene number of boarding groups.

I would like to see airports ditch open container laws and let people bring their drinks to the gate. As long as I'm not flying the plane, who cares?. It would make those rolling 20 minute delays when you're just stuck at the gate for 6 unexplainable hours more tolerable.

Southwest tried to board from the front and and back of the plane with two ramps. All of the folks that went to the back just ran to the front to get off first.

I forget which airline, and it is probably more than one, but on the smaller connector flights, they had someone inside monitoring the overhead bins. When they got almost full, anyone else boarding after that point had to drop their carry on off with an employee on the tunnel and it got put under the plane with regular luggage. They either need to go back to one carry on and enforcing size limits or make you check everything. And that is coming from someone who hates to check bags. I'd much rather deal with baggage claim than fight for a spot in the overhead compartments next to some fat slob who brought on 90 lbs of carry ons and tried to stuff it into a 2 foot space.

On Munich last flight from Dallas to Phoenix I was sitting in row 20 (mid plane) and was on the group 4 list...

By the time I was called to board they also said that there was no more room in overhead and I would have to check my bag. When I got on the plane I immediately opened the two overheads near my seat to find plenty of room!!

When I asked a flight attendant what was up they said that they got spooked and basically just didn't want to deal.

What am I gonna do??? Its like prison

Because then every one in the window seat would be able to use the overhead bins prior to the middle seat and aisle seat passengers .

I flew United a few weeks ago and after the second boarding group, all overhead no s were taken and everyone had to check luggage. We. Would fit everything under the seat, but talk about a pain. People bringing too much shite if it's filled up after the second group when there are 5 groups.
