E.
Never had one but eventually will get them when I'm old enough to be high risk.

Doctor said I wouldn’t have had it half as bad, had I gotten a flu shot.
This sounds so familiar... and untrue.

It’s a combination of things. First, it seems the flu shot is rarely right, and the new rationale of getting the flu shot isn’t that you won’t get the flu, but you’re ‘less likely to go to the hospital with it’
I’m not at risk of the flu putting me in the hospital if I get it, and I’ve only gotten it twice in the past 15 years, so I’ll take my chances. Flu shot or not, if I get the flu, I’m going to spend $100 on Xofluza because that shite is awesome and knocks out my symptoms in 24 hours.

This is me, had to get it in the military, never since.
The better question for me is, do I get the shingles shots?!?

“do I get the shingles shot?”
I did.
Didn’t take the Covid shot, haven’’t taken the flu shot in several years and will never take another one.
Kept procrastinating on the shingles shot and got shingles.Got way too close to my L eye.
Several months afterwards I got the 2 shot series(Shingrex).
There are some vaccines worth taking(tetanus) but the Covid and flu shots are a money making racket.
