Is this the one who was under felony indictment for stalking?
Yes

When I say I don't know how I feel, I am referring to this part. Jones sent out messages using that system. but did the department not deactivate her account? If not, then they should hold some responsibility. And by deactivating her account, there shouldn't have been a need to raid her home. Unless I am missing something from the story.
Ahh, sorry yeh idk specifics (and she could be a total nut idk) but if she "refused to answer the door for 20 minutes," then that is one thing but if the police are "vested up and in tactical gear" I highly doubt that they just decided to suit up in the 20 minutes between knocking and entering. Either way hardly seems like a "raid" scenario. Then again, I had BRPD kick the door down with guns at a friends apartment in BR my sophomore year and proceed to make a huge mess of the place before they realized that they were at the wrong address.

ETA i didn’t realize there was actual video. Yeah, a bit absurd but maybe she should have answered the door for a warrant quicker than 20 minutes while she was likely trying to destroy evidence.

Dumb arse should have had the data on a flash drive

Data Scientist
She fricking installed the shitty GIS system for the state of Florida and input data. A monkey could have done that.
If she is a data scientist, I’m Albert Einstein.

Bidens america
Pretty sure she disagreed with Trump's America and this is the "back the blue" response?

Staff member booked after altercation with LSUPD officers
On June 13, 26-year-old University staff member Rebekah Jones was booked on one count of battery on a police officer, one count of remaining after forbidden and two counts of resisting arrest, Scott said. Scott said officers arrived at the Sea Grant building when Jones refused to leave at the request of LSU Human Resources. Scott said Jones initiated physical contact against two LSUPD officers while resisting arrest and officers were forced to subdue her.

gcs
this is what you voted for
So the woman was asked to manipulate the data that would benefit Trump's argument, she gets fired and the police raid her house.. And you are saying thats what I voted for? You are an idiot.
And Biden is president elect. He is not yet the president. But why are we talking about presidents? This is the state of florida's issue.

I haven't decided where exactly I stand on this one, but there seems to be more than enough evidence presented, just in this thread, to prove that the woman is a nut.

The FDLE affidavit for the search warrant said a special agent spoke to a DOH official with the Preparedness and Response office about a suspected breach of the custom-made communications system for emergency management.
An unidentified subject gained access to the system and sent out a group text saying: "It's time to speak up before another 17,000 people are dead. You know this is wrong. You don't have to be a part of this. Be a hero. Speak out before it's too late."

Pointing guns at her kids is a little over the top.
But the officers feared their lives. You never know when a kid it going to pop a cap in you while you're raiding a home military style over petty computer shite.

Not sure how I feel about this, but I do think the police were more aggressive than they should have. Pointing guns at her kids is a little over the top.
LOL at people who think a lot of folks in the thin blue line won’t follow orders to come take their guns.

She seems really classy.
Stalking Charge, 2020
Assaulting LSU police in what was probably another stalking incident 2016
But I'd probably screw her over a desk if I didn't know all that
I don't know if it's funny or sad how much fawning praise she got in the press as a "covid scientist." Fortune named her to their "40 under 40" list under "Healthcare." She's a GIS programmer.

Police said she published a 68-page document online discussing private details of her relationship with her former boyfriend, including explicit texts and nude photographs, and shared the link with him.
The two had sex in a classroom in 2017 when Jones was his married professor at Florida State University, the man told police. She was fired from the university after threatening to give a failing grade to his roommate as revenge, he said. Jones said the two had a six-month affair until October 2017, and the man is the father of her daughter born in July 2018.

This moron was hired to be a relatively low-level HTML jockey. She was never, to my knowledge, qualified nor employed as a "data scientist."
This person tried to parlay her web designer job into personally setting the official state Corononavirus numbers, and for that she was fired. Ideally mere public scorn would do the job law enforcement is doing here, but if there are certain circles of wackjob trying to make this idiot into a hero, then there's probably value in knocking her off her stupid little pedestal.

FWIW, guns drawn and vests on is standard procedure for high level state and federal entry scenarios. People complain all the time about it but it’s not going to change. The feds aren’t gonna screw around when it comes to executing a warrant.
