I can't see firing someone for this. Maybe furloughing them for quarantine, but firing is extreme. Either way, it will probably work out better for the exemployee than you.

Are you in a nursing home or something? If you go to the store even for bread or TP nowadays, you’ve been in contact. On top of that, it will have gone through most of us within a year.

Not if the company had a disclosed form the employees had to sign to remain working as essential workers like I would assume most companies do.

Louisiana is an at will employment state with very little exceptions. Unless he is a civil service employee, he can be fired because his fricking hair wasn’t brushed that day.
