re: Fellas, would you be ok with your girlfriend/wife having a male trainer at the gym?

Every girl I know that had a male trainer ended up having an affair.
All that sweating, heavy breathing, straining, touching to show proper technique, skimpy clothing, and motivational talk such as “Do it. Do it! Do it!
Yeah, better start looking for a divorce lawyer now.

It doesn't sound like the smartest idea.

If he is not a homosexual and your wife is attractive with a nice figure, don’t let her wear those skin tight yoga pants that show off her arse or those short shorts that show off her legs. Make sure she wears a loose fitting top and some kind of baggy pants.
If he is a homosexual or your wife is unattractive/overweight, there shouldn’t be much to worry about.

This eliminates the need for this thread for like 95% of the OT, the other 5% don’t give a shite

I've never thought much about it until this thread but I'd wager that gym affairs are as high if not higher than office affairs.
There are some seriously naive people posting in this thread.
But that's what I posted several pages ago. The hormonal overdrive that happens at a gym is animalistic. You combine that with narcissism and you have a recipe for cheating. And yeah, there's dudes like me that just want to get in and gtfo out, but I know way too many couples that ended their marriages over gym flings.

This post assures me you haven’t been in a gym in at minimum a decade and a half

Bitch, I've done more in the gym than you.
I wonder if you just troll people just for kicks. I've enjoyed your Ironman posts, where you appear genuine and normal. Your posts on the OT are like caricatures of your health board posts.

Low achievers typically wish ill against high achievers. Weird behavior but seems to be unbreakable human nature

After this happened between my wife and her trainer, I no longer have any fear.

Growing up at home, we had a 1938 set of Compton’s Encyclopedia.
It had a glowing article on Deutschland.
Not a word on sex under biology (or any related category).
The Internet is my playground now to make up for being starved of resources back then.

I know this isn’t the point of your post, but dafook is he even doing other than putting his crotch in her face while he rubs her lower back?
“I’m just stretching her out”…yeah I bet.

No one ever had an affair in the mail room at work.

Very interesting point. Would you feel the same with a massage therapist? I will never go to a male massage therapist. I do have a lesbo therapist though.
I feel like personal training is more of an every day routine though. So that opportunity presents itself more.
I’ve been to an older female therapist that my wife recommended. But if she didn’t tell me “you need to try this lady” I’d probably have just went to a male therapist, both out of respect for her and because I’ve had a male before too and they put better pressure on a deep tissue, imo.
Only time my wife has had a male therapist is a couples massage with me in the room and it was more like a medical setting, imo. strict boundaries and we were only a few feet apart.
I just think as far as personal trainers, if both sexes are capable of getting the job done, why not just go to someone the same sex who likely understands your body better and can help you reach your goals faster. Why risk forming an emotional connection with someone of the opposite sex from being in close contact with them daily.
