Seems like I just answered this exact question a month ago on this board.

I’m not, and I’m not particularly enticed by other penises as well

So, like I asked- what’s the difference?

I worked a side gig as a trainer right out of college. Could tell you a lot of stories.

Picking up sweaty towels and wiping down machines is not the same thing as being an instructor, fat boy.

Having been in gyms my whole life, this seems to be a bad idea. There’s something sexual to the physicality of the gym that opens up the door to this being an issue.

Also, a lot of women only get in shape for the sake of a getting a revenge body. NOT ALL WOMEN, but a fair share. If you’re getting fit for attention, then odds are you’ll fall prey to the person giving you the most attention, serving as a father/leader figure, and having to touch you a lot to help you keep form.

If we have to explain to you the difference between innies and outies, we are going to be here a while.

I think there are different perspectives. Some folks are more traditional and conservative and therefore would not engage in such behavior or decision-making in the first place based on mutual understanding and shared principles.

In those cases it's not about "controlling" anyone - it's simply a way of life.

At the end of the day it's about trust. If you're with someone that you're legitimately afraid that they're going to cheat on you with their trainer at the gym because they're of the opposite sex, well, that has a hell of a lot more to do with the person you're with than anything.

Once again, a decision has to be made first to get a trainer of the opposite sex. Some women would do that, and others would not.

Why does anyone need a personal trainer at the gym? Just find the exercises that you want to do, and do them.

Olympians have coaches and trainers. Should they not have trainers either?

Yes. You can't watch her every move. If she's not faithful, she'll be unfaithful at the office, school, gym, online or anywhere else.

This man speaks truth! Once a woman has a mind to cheat, the logistics will rarely stop her. It would blow your mind the when and where.

It is absolutely scandalous.

The most fit I have ever been was from me using a trainer...the push you more than you can push yourself and hold you accountable...unfortunately, they aren't cheap.

Bret Contreras? Maybe. He’s sculpting some hot women so it could be worth it.

Any other? No way.

Making a decision to hire a trainer who is male versus female, doesn't indicate that a woman has intent to be unfaithful. Or cannot be trained by a man. And depending on the gym or setting, sometimes you don't get to make that designation.

Having a male trainer isn't much different than having a male coach. Women who play sports (who are heterosexual) aren't at some greater risk to cheat because their coach is male if they are women who value the relationship that they are in.

If she values the relationship, then she's not going to cheat.

This is a utopian and very naive take. You can both be very secure in your relationship and also think this is a terrible idea. One day a moment of weakness crosses opportunity and in the blink of second it's gg.
So you lock her up?

If she is going to cheat on you she is going to cheat on you. Telling her she can’t have a male trainer and thinking this stops anything is what’s utopian and naive in thought

I agree with you, but it's also not that simple. There are so many additional factors that go into this equation, like marital health, partner attention, etc.

You get some hunky dude touching (and yes they do touch) a chick while teaching them form, technique, etc., primitive feelings and emotions change and definitely weaken that marital bond that might be shaky already.

It's the fragility of human emotions on display and it happens a lot unfortunately.
