Same
If you have driven the Tesla FSD you know that the future is almost here.
Every car is going to have to have self driving to compete.

We have nothing to worry about. We can trust our government and large corporations, lol

I expect that most won’t own a vehicle, they’ll just hail one through an app.
the lyft CEO was talking about this ages ago, his vision was that autonmous cars could be owned privately and used as passive income. Drive to work, let it hail rides and have it back when you need it.
I have my reservations but that would be a pretty wild revisionalization of sun belt cities that are massive parking lots. However, it would make their reluctance to building public transport pay off.

Honestly autonomous vehicles with no brake pedal are still likely statistically 1000% safer than the braking of a human driver.

I don’t even like getting in a Uber or cab with a driver.

I'm 44 and I feel the same way- no chance of me ever getting in a car that doesn't have a driver.
I’ve done it but it was called a roller coaster.

Will never in my life get in a vehicle that isn’t able to be controlled by me or another human. Anyone that does is a fricking idiot

You really should get out from under that rock every now and then and take a look around.

Over the next 40yrs these things will have worked all the kinks out.
Most folks won’t own a physical car, they’ll pay for transportation service from a contractor.
Most folks need a car for an average of an hour a day total.
Why own something that is idle 23/24ths (96%) of the time?

Are you a female?
Because that’s quite a feminine response.
Interesting.

The technology is here right now. It is being used already.
Now it’s up to the regulators.

One day the interior of a car or van will look like a living room. I can’t wait.
