the only thing missing, and i'd wager a pretty penny it exists, is a private university education
the only reason i'm skeptical is b/c of the low loan amount
$80,000 in student loans at age 47 is low loan debt?

Strayer University (and the other for-profits preying on middle-aged people) is expensive. Looking at their website, it is $1,465 a course.

Why should the taxpayers subsidize this person?

Sounds like she needs a real job. If your full time job can't pay the bills it's really more of a hobby.

I got audited last year(for 2016,) those motherfrickers are Nazis, once they start digging they think everything is fair game, a couple of times I had to tell them(through my CPA,) to frick off, I'm not required to keep records that long, ended up going through '15 and '17 returns too
I'm still fighting a 2010 audit. I lost my records in a move, so I just make sure I owe them every year.

Not true at all. $1-2k extra year will most likely knock 5-7 years off an average mortgage.

Chalk one up for the good guys. She signed off on the student loans. It’s a contractual obligation she defaulted on for being a deadbeat and got served by the Feds.
