If god in heaven forbid this one to happen to one of mine I’m not sure I could resist azzazinating the guy and just dealing with the consequences. It feels like it would be worth whatever they would give me.

You think someone who did what he was ok with doing will feel any shame for being "known as" those things among his other inmates?
No. He will be well fed and have a bed to lie down every night, probably enjoying himself at times. Any one of those things even one time is too much for whatever kind of evil he is.

This. Being a father to all girls like another person said, I could not even fathom this. I wonder if the individual that committed this horrendous act had any history or just flipped out. Man that was tough to read. God bless her family and all those close to her.

The point that the previous posters are making is that, as awful as most of the people in prison are, they still have a code. They don't take kindly to inmates that raped/murdered kids. This guy's life in prison would have been brutal if he was in the general population (and he may have very well been killed eventually). Most likely he would have likely been isolated, though, so the death penalty is a good result.
