Had an interview for a technical position at CGI a few months ago. I was the only non-indian on the call. The interview went over the benefits, briefly went over my resume, then they proceeded talk for the whole scheduled hour about non-technical stuff. They knew they weren't going to hire me the second they saw me, but they still had to kill the entire hour.

Obviously anecdotal, but this was not my experience at my last job.

We had a black male director, and only one black manager. The other 9 managers were white, 3 male and 6 female (which makes sense because it's a female dominant field).

It got to the point in my last couple of job searches where I pulled out of the hiring process entirely if I saw I would be interviewing with an Indian

I got sick and tired of the humiliation ritual interviews where they clearly were hell bent on hiring another Indian and only were interviewing me for the sake of humiliating me so they could claim there were no qualified Americans, therefore we must go the H1B route

Happened too many times to count. The worst were the panel interviews of 2 or more Indians who would take turns like it was a tag team wrestling match

The racists are the people yelling racism all day long. Rather hypocritical and ironic, isn't it?
