75% of the population over 18 have received at least one dose. 90% of the elderly, who are clearly the highest risk.

And they're talking federal vax mandates. And rather than focus on that stupidity, you choose to carry the water of those making these decisions who don't really care how many people get the shot.

Welcome to the fricking real problem.

Agreed. He's a very reasonable guy. He's one of the very few that has acknowledged its logical for someone to assess the risk factors and come to the conclusion not to get vaccinated. Someone like him could do a lot better job at convincing people to get it than Korkstand over here saying its selfish not to get vaccinated. It's astounding how the majority here dont realize they're just pushing people away when they act like that.

Then they can get vaccinated. You can get the vaccine if you want to be protected. Selfishness doesnt come into play in that scenario at all
Few people actually want to be selfish, so they justify every selfish decision in one way or another to feel better. In your case, it's by pretending that any vaccine works 100% so that you don't have to think about the fact that it takes two people for a transmission to take place.

Do you use use "incarceration" in place of "jail time"? Big words don't make you smarter, sir.

Generally I do. Typing "incarceration" takes longer than typing "jail time" and given I get paid by the hour to render legal opinions it behooves me to use longer words.

If I edit my normal vocabulary to words 4th graders understand that means I think I am responding to a moron. So if you see me reply to a post in only monosyllabic words then you can safely infer my choice is to subtly indicate I think they are thick.

Doesn’t mean a whole lot to me that some government agency is being pressured into rubber stamping something quickly.

I saw 18 downvotes of this completely well-founded post and scratched my head. But then I realized I'd flipped over from PT to OT, the latter of which has been overrun by covidiots.

It wouldn't surprise me to hear that the CDC is lying. Or maybe states are.

Just to confirm, you believe we need to be 100% vaccinated, and that will be what allows us to get back to normal, correct?

obviously not. go reread my post, i said gov lockdown stuff is overboard vax shouldnt be mandated. i was arguing with another poster who is pretending the vaccine doesn't offer a favorable risk/benefit.

I'm not spreading any disinformation either.

well you are responding to posts about health risks/benefits but are referring to political theatre beliefs. so youre not really spreading any information either youre just kinda lobbing weird talking point accusations (refer to first quote).

And you're kidding yourself if you dont think the radical push for everyone to be vaccinated for something that 99% of the total population and 99.99% of young people have no reason to worry over doesnt turn people off.
Do you think vaccination rates would be higher if the message was "here's the vaccine, take it or leave it"? Or maybe the message should have been "vaccines for insert demographic here ONLY"? Then maybe people would be fighting to get it?

Here is some validation for the pussies that quietly down voted a simple statement. Feel free to roast me for saying 75% instead of 72.7%. Of course there is always lag in data reporting, so choose the right number for yourself.
