Because testing takes fricking TIME.

When coming to this conclusion (the inference being the Pfizer vaccine BL approval is rushed) did you determine or find a mean or average time from pre-trial positivity to final BL approval for vaccines in the US?

If you did this did you further remove from the Pfizer time the time it took to assemble groups for the tests and further reduce the Pfizer time by the reduction as a result of the acceptance of the expedited review?

If you did not determine these more representative times then you are parroting or projecting feels.

The unusual speed of BL approval has almost everything to do with the chunks of time where little if anything is happening in the trial and approval process not being present.

The simple fact is the approval process has more data and scrutiny for these three vaccines than any other vaccines in history.

Seriously, mandating this BS (getting the vaccine to stay employed) is the most draconian shite I have ever seen.

Not much of a student of history are you? Probably graduated Magna in your Hyperbole Ph.D. program though.

lol. Loom at the average time it takes for medicine to get full FDA approval...... years sometimes decades.

So it’s impossible to streamline something in an emergency pandemic? Oh, that’s right…you don’t know because this has never happened in our lifetime. Silly me.

It’s like people never been in a situation where things can change. Even at my little rinky dink job, there are things called EOrders. Or Emergency orders. Where things just can’t wait. Must be done NOW. Things of that sort. It’s possible. Who woulda thunk it ?

I personally know several people like myself that are taking the wait-and-see approach. To myself and them, FDA approval or not doesn't make a difference in our decision.

exactly
change Covid to the Flu in this thread and laugh at the irony
we have had Flu vaccines for decades, it is far more common and deadly and yet none of the hysteria around getting a flu shot like this

you are questioning their dogma disguised as their logic. but you do not feel the sense of urgency that they do, and they dont understand why

Hell, we just found out like 3 weeks ago that you can still get Covid once vaccinated.
Pretty sure we found that out after the trials produced efficacy results that were less than 100%.

This is the definition of pandemic:

quote:

Pandemic: An epidemic (a sudden outbreak) that becomes very widespread and affects a whole region, a continent, or the world due to a susceptible population. By definition, a true pandemic causes a high degree of mortality (death)

This is not a true pandemic

Do they involve you putting an MRNA vaccine into your body or the federal government? Slightly different then, right? Who woulda thunk it.

I don’t remember hospitals filling up with flu patients dying on ventilators either. Weird.

So it’s IMPOSSIBLE to streamline an emergency vaccine/booster? Is that what you’re telling me?

Fine, then since it won't kill me, I am selfish and I intend to kill fat & old people. Dude, no vaccine has ever been MANDATED. You don't see the problem here?

Can you explain how its selfish to not get vaccinated when you can get it to protect yourself? It has nothing to do with selfishness

How does the fact that everyone has a choice mean the choice can't be selfish? I replied to a poster who said he wasn't getting the vaccine because covid won't hurt him.

Then they can get vaccinated. You can get the vaccine if you want to be protected. Selfishness doesnt come into play in that scenario at all
