B-58 Hustler (Still remember the sonic booms over Shreveport when they practiced bomb runs in the early 60s.)

A-10 Warthog

F-15, but have always loved the A-10's also..

My Dad worked for Grumman during the 80's and early 90's. We both LOVED the F-14. The Grumman Family picnic would feature a fly over by all of their famous aircraft

back then I was told by an ex-pilot that flew F-4's that the typical path from Keesler AFB to Sheppard AFB in TX was between Hammond and Kentwood along I-55 corridor flying that route back & forth.

I know I use to see them a lot in the summers in the mid 80's around Kentwood area. F4's, F-20's and the occasional F-16.

B-52, A-10, F-111, F-4.

I like the ugly, dirty war horses, not the show ponies.

My dad was a Marine in Vietnam and to this day he's never talked about the war much but the one thing he would always talk about is the F-4. When I Was a pup he'd tell me how the F-4s would make a run down a valley, drop their ordinance and then turn their nose up and put both those huge engines on burn. He said the way those engines shook the valley helped them more than whatever they had just dropped. Scared the shite out of the NVA/VC.
