Those are some sturdy looking little dogs. I think they're a little hard to train though. Kind of independent like cats. Once they're trained they're wonderful

GSD - despite the shedding, I still stand by this breed. I've had two great ones.

American Akita. I like Spitz type dogs for some reason.
Coursing dogs like the Saluki are really cool too, even though they look gay as frick. They're fast enough and strong enough to pull down gazelle.

Mutt. We have 2. One is a spaniel mix, and the other is a large lab/heeler mix. Both are lap dogs, but if anybody steps into our yard, they go apeshit.
