Been hunting on horseback twice with packs of beagles - it is something to see all those dogs working.

On the weekend we hunted with a beagle pack, there was also a day where we hunted on foot with a pack of bassett hounds.

It was a trip.

Australian Cattle dog.

Our Blue Heeler, Aussie, was the best dog I have ever had. When we bought a small ranch in Central Texas we decided to run some Brangus cows with a bull. An old timer rancher recommend we get a Blue Heeler. She would take on our 2,200 pound bull without any fear. We knew our kids were safe running around the ranch as long as they took Aussie. She lived a good life of 14 years. Can't wait until I get another one.

Husky for me. They're very intelligent, yet mine doesn't always show it lol. Full of energy 24/7 and always ready to do anything with you. Fair warning: if they get outside of a closed in area without a leash on prepare for a chase!
