He wants to shut down the US economy destroying the livelihoods of millions until his company can sell us a vaccine. He even wants us to carry papers saying we have had the vaccine. He is evil to the core.

He might be, but that’s not why he is always retained. It’s because he’s playing both sides of the fence, and when a President gets elected some of those bureaucratic people are relied upon to help the newcomers get their hands on the controls. As long as a guy like that is inoffensive he’ll be retained. Look at Neil Ferguson, for example. That guy has been spectacularly wrong on every prediction about every disease that has come along, but they retained him for decades until he broke quarantine to diddle his married girlfriend.

I don’t know, it certainly seems like the run and hide from it faction are the ones ignoring evidence. Tell me, how dangerous is this virus for someone younger than say, 65? How about, how dangerous is this virus for someone younger than 65, in good health? How dangerous is this virus for someone younger than 65, in good health, who doesn’t live in an urban center like New York, Chicago, etc?
For almost anyone who falls into at least one of those three categories, this virus is no more dangerous than the regular flu, isn’t that correct? If you have evidence to the contrary, please post it.
ETA: I’ll be damned. My post upset 4 people enough to give me a downvote, but didn’t upset any enough to dispute what I said, or post their contrary evidence.
