Best buddy from high school. Her dad got mad because after a year his little girls husband wasn't making big bucks. Tried to force him to come work for him in his family business. He said no.

There’s a chick on TexAgs that cheated on her husband and they were divorced before a year.
In my personal life I know a couple that didn’t make it 6 months. No affair but she thought he would change and he said “ I was drunk at a bar with a dip in my mouth and beer and cigarette in my hands when we met. What did she think she was getting?”

I think it was probably just some stupid throwaway line to her, and she'd probably just watched too much TV as a kid, where that kind of thing is funny, but I the marriage didn't last 90 days after that.
You can bet that wasn't first time she emotionally humiliated him. And doing it in front of other people is unacceptable.

I didn't know the guy when it happened.. I was told the story from the guys dad.

I was best man in an ostentatious wedding that ended in divorce 9 months later. He wanted to call it off but didn’t have the balls—she was just awful and I encouraged him to call it off but he didn’t listen.
He ended up with a mistress 3 months later, left the marriage, and has been happily married to the mistress a decade now without cheating.

I went to high school with an OT 8. Long legged blonde that was in Athlons Cuties of the SEC or whatever.
She’s on her third marriage. First one lasted about a year. Guy was just an alcoholic loser.
The current marriage is solid. They’ve been married about 10 years.
The second one was the interesting one. 4 days before the separation. And it still resulted in a child. I don’t know the full story, but the guy wasn’t what he presented. The guy said his mother had died and his mom and sister showed up at the wedding.

A good friend’s little sister got married and divorced within 18 months. It was pretty surprising.

I have never been married but my sister has been dating a much older man for 15 years. He is in his mid 70’s while my sister is in her early 50’s.
Sister is a recovering addict. Her man stood by her all these years. He can be grumpy and controlling with the cash. I don’t think they will ever marry. He has been married three previous times. What could go wrong ?
