“Retail Brands” is the key word(s), no one gives a shite about brands anymore.
Well maybe the slapdicks on the OT do.

I buy Under Armor shorts to work out in and lately wear just about every day around the house because they are cheap and good quality. frick paying for Nike shorts. I got 3 pair of UA shorts delivered for $18 last week, you couldn't pick the color but I took the gamble because I figured 90% of their shorts would be black or gray. I got a blue pair, black pair and gray pair. It can't possibly be good for Under Armor that their shorts are selling for so cheap, the tags on them had $35 retail with a $25 retailer price tag on them, I don't think they were "first run".

As far as I am concerned, they can keep their salad sandwiches that they garnish with a little touch of meat

I'm not saying Jimmy John's is great by any means but they make two levels of sandwich and one has like 3 slices of meat and the other is pretty loaded. Their Italian Night sub is decent to me for a fast food type of place. Granted it's like 950 calories. It has 5x the meat of any subway sandwich.

They obviously do a shite job of advertising this though because you are about the 25th person I've seen complain about this.

I see more Duncan Donuts going up than anything

This is the truth. They're popping up in Houston and are in Shreveport as well when I was there a year ago

I still chuckle at how quickly DD built/shuttered across the street from WalMart on Mansfield Rd in South Shreveport. Thing was closed up and all signage removed in under 6 months. Still sitting empty and already rotting next to the RaceWay. Of course the RocketFast car wash at the end of the strip of new built places was also armed robbed within the 1st 6 months too.

Funny to see The North Face in there. 15-20 years ago they made quality Outdoor clothing, then they sold out to Gap and become a fashion line. Some of their stuff is still decent, but a far cry from what it used to be.

Nike doesnt have any official political positions. They listen to marketing people and the marketing people tell them whats in/out.

If Dunkin has the best donuts in your area I feel sorry for you

It’s not really a donut “thing” as much
Sure they sell donuts, but it’s mostly about the coffee now days
And breakfast sandwiches

It’s alright
Certainly cheaper than Starbucks (among the “fast food” coffee places)
But it’s a big thing up here/the north east and most of those people are far more loyal to their coffee than their donuts (from what I’ve seen)

They opened several around here and they all went out of business in 3-4 years. I didn't get the hype. Shitty donuts and weak coffee.

The majority of people who boycotted Nike were people who were not big consumers of Nike in the first place. Under Armor is one of the "big three". What college football and you will see teams sponsored by one of three companies (there is the Jordan brand, but its part of Nike), but Under Armor seems to put a lot of their marketing into college teams but they should get more big name athletes to represent them.

UA clothes are solid but they could never catch up with Nike or Adidas on the shoes. A lot of that is marketing, but UA shoe style just isn’t great.

The logo is too big on them. It just doesn't look as good as the other brands you mentioned.

My 12 yr old daughter prefers lulu and H&M...

I think UA entered the market with a superior, specific product, they have struggled to duplicate that success in other sportswear. Meanwhile Nike has caught up to them in wicking synthetics.

North Face is weird where they want to be like Kuhl with some of their stuff, but also still have some nice high end items for real outdoors people.

Mountain hard wear used to be quality. I’m liking Arc’teryx and Marmot for outdoor gear these days
