There are Blimpie’s still in SC, they are just relegated to gas stations.

And Subway is wayyyyyy too big. I know of 3 off the top of my head within a 5 minute drive of where I work.

I think for the price point their quality is crap. Can’t tel you how many of my wifes clothes have completely deteriorated after a couple wears. They do always send her replacement items.

Pretty much. Subway still seems healthier than McDonald’s but everything they sell is still loaded with carbs and nitrates.

Under Armour has terrible design and cheap products. You can have lower quality stuff (Nike) if your design and advertising is best in class

Also Burberry is shite quality and they no longer have any brand identity. everything they make now features these bold blocky letters. just make super high quality shite with a little bit of the tartan fabric here and there

People dont know they fudged their numbers. I think the guy ran off to another country or something.

But basically to show they kept increasing in sales they would over ship goods to stores and ask them to hold them so it looks like that product was off their books. These retail places would get a deal for doing that. One of the big players doing this was sports authority. So they were shipping goods to sports authorities knowing they were going to go under but it didnt matter because again, the books showed that product was now owned by sports authority.

Now i forget if it was dicks or kohls that eventually wouldnt play ball and ratted them out. So their year after year sales growth was a huge fricking farce.
