Never even heard of it... was it just a Louisiana/Texas thing? I grew up in central NC/west TN.

It wasn't a local place but they might not have been nationwide.

I think UA probably missed out on a boom because about the time people wanted an alternative to Nike, you have these athleisure companies exploding (lulu, Rhone, Myles, etc.).

It makes perfect sense that UA, with the loud designs and huge logos, is killing it with kids and travel ball dads but few others. Then you look at what's working with everyone else - minimalism, discrete logos, etc.

I do see a ton of travel ball kids (not just dads) outfitted head to toe in UA in places like suburban Atlanta and Dallas

My little nephews stay decked out in that UA shite.

Hopefully our next go around we don’t renew our apparel contract with UA

My son is all about the big two sports apparel, Nike and UA. Well we made him use his own money to buy it, since I was not overpaying for that stuff. Well he has found out the Adidas is just as good, and is in his stingy price range.

Tons of kids are growing up wearing Under Armour that 20 years ago would be in Nike.

I rarely see kids around here in UA
Mostly Nike and Adidas
Also rarely see any UA ads/billboards in some of the more heavily trafficked neighborhoods.

I suspect the Ultraboost is helping

Shocking at how fast they economize when the $$ ain't coming out of dad's wallet.

They had a unique brand position 20+ years ago. Remember they marketed themselves as the healthy alternative to fast food and they offered a unique experience to have your food prepped right in front of you and to choose all the ingredients you wanted.

I honestly think Jared the kiddie diddler was the direct cause of their rise and downfall.

Under Armour ruined their brand when they started being distributed in places like Kohl's. They are seen as cheap now. Plus I don't really think women buy anything from them at all.
