I hope they're getting paid big bucks. $25 a day ought to set them up for life in India.

Chances are they are already here, either by migration of some dumbass releasing them. Whether they can sustain a population depends on their climatological adaptablity. My guess is that they can, at least in far S. Louisiana.

They ain't got shite on a bunch of coonasses. Have a big pot of rice and coonasses would make quick work of them.

Florida is chock full of redneck, backwoods motherfrickers. I'm sure if they can't get it under control then Coonasses would probably have trouble as well.

I'm not comparing Coonasses to hicks in FL btw, just saying they have pretty similar experiences in the swamp.

The environment is just too friendly and vast... containment is the the only realistic goal for S. Florida.

It's crazy how these snakes have been able to procreate and thrive. All of this started because of people letting their pet snakes go in the swamp, now it's an infestation.

Has this infestation lowered the price of boots?

South FL is a weird place for sure.

Growing up in Florida, we were always told that Hurricane Andrew was the reason for the python infestation.

Many invasive species get their start that way. It's fricking infuriating how stupid people can be.

No they were high altitude anti-aircraft missiles designed to shoot down enemy jet-plane bombers carrying nukes.

Snakes sometimes eat something to big or pointy and it ends up splitting the snake open. Here you can see the tail was so rigid it poked through the snake. It's pretty common I believ
