I agree, I don't see how its rape. They agreed to have sex for money, but he didn't pay them. Rape is not agreeing to sex.
It should be illegal and he should go to jail, but I don't see how that's rape?
I would think he could have just paid them all something like $100 and not been charged with rape. Not paying them the full amount, but paying them something, would have likely got him off the hook for more serious charges I'd suspect.

The blackmail doesn't help his "innocence" argument

Yeah, but an argument could be made that the consent was given under false pretenses. I mean, the dude definitely got some poontang, and I'm cool with that, but whatever I guess.

They agreed to have sex to audition to have sex for money.
There was no gaurantee they would get a gig.

He's definitely not innocent.
Let's reverse the gender's here, a woman tells a man he can have sex with her for money. Woman never pays.
Is the woman convicted of rape?

Yeah, it's called pornography.

His face in that picture is the most "don't care had sex" face ever

I don't think that defense worked since he...

Which he had no intention providing. We're getting into semantics here and I don't really want to do that. Look, I'm cool with the fact that the dude bagged over 24 probably decent looking chicks. Whatever really.

And I'm not saying he's innocent. If anything he's guilty of breech of contract not rape.

Ok, lets say that YOU are desperate for a job. You find someone that wants to interview you for a potential career. Not porn... just anything you currently do now.
You show up for the interview and there are forms to fill out and everything looks promising.
Oh, to qualify for this job, you fist have to suck the interviewer's dick and let him cum on your face.
You're desperate and really need the job.
You let him do his "tryout ".
Then you find out he doesn't have a company at all. It was all just a bunch of lies so that he can stick his dick in your arse.
Contracts don't mean anything if the company is make believe.
Dude is a rapist.

Didn't read the article, but I would guess that most of the charges (or at least the ones he could easily be convicted of) dealt with the blackmail and/or fraud.
What if he just told them he was rich and would marry them?
