I worked with an Asian engineer that pronounced it as “A-Ron” so I guess anything close is understood by me.

I mean, you didn't just misspell it. The whole pronunciation is wrong. And the part of the wing its on, you got that wrong too.

It looked like the trim tab but i see now it's part of the fowler flap assembly. And they are adjacent on the wing. It's not like they are in seperate parts of the plane.

How old was plane?

Isnt delta notorious for keeping older planes running instead of buying new ones?

They were flying MD80s well into the 2010s
