At least according to this net worth by age calculator

Even scarier for these people is that social security might not exist in 20 years when they hit retirement age.

There will be something, whether it be a new program or a revolution.

Unfortunately, we don't let people fail anymore so there's little incentive for making responsible decisions.

Nothing like the general public to make me feel better about myself. I’m middle class but at 96% net worth.

That makes you somewhere between 20 and 30 with a net worth of between $500K and $1M. It goes up quickly from there.

One think I’ve learned in my life is that if enough people fail, the government will step in.

Im 44, consider myself Gen X, and I would run a garden hose from my exhaust to the inside of my truck with the windows up if I fell into the median.

Ok so excluding the single largest investment most people utilize, most people don’t have a lot of money.

Genuinely surprised a median of net worth is that high nationwide. Would think it would be almost negative to f you take out all home considerations.
No way they have money saved with a bunch of credit cards outstanding. Need more info.
