THere was an apartment complex in Waco nicknamed "RoachCreast" (it was actually called Oakcrest).
Shitty landlord and the complex had mostly student tenants. Guy had a hole in his ceiling that they would not fix. So, he moved out. Before he left, he unplugged the refrigerator and started taking his shits in the vegetable bins. He moved out early in the month so they didn't know he moved out for a couple of weeks (it also shows how incredibly inattentive they were to repairs).

Mimi’s video production and writing is surprisingly good considering she’s a realtor, LOL. That was actually interesting video…if Keith Morrison from Dateline had been narrating it would have been great.

The video is worth watching.

Not one decent caricature phallus with all that spray paint. Amateurs.

I don't like carpet so I'd rip that up and replace it anyway
You'd obviously have to paint the whole house but that's a DYI job that's relatively cheap
Painting cabinets is a pain though
I watched the video tour. The tenant replaced the roof without the owner's knowledge, and the work was poorly done. There were dead animals in there as well.
Owners used a shitty property manager, and it bit them in the arse big time. And wow, all the houses in that neighborhood are huge.

I would sue them and pursue collection and enforcement for the rest of their lives. I know I'd spend more and would never recover my losses, but I'd still be in their lives forever, garnishing every pay check.

Absolutely worth watching, kind of a fricked up story. The entitlement on some people. The lady living there wasn’t even on the lease and wasn’t paying rent, what the frick she think was going to happen.
Definitely a commie

I once checked out a house where the previous tenets cut out the circuit breaker box and took it with them.

Not saying this is the situation but owners of rentals can be petty sob's attempting to withhold deposits and such for normal wear and tear.
Besides the vandalism nothing is showing in the photos that the home was ill kept.

We have had horrible experience with rentals.
Rented out our house that wouldn't sell during obama-collapse of 08-09. Ended up having to take legal action to recover money from a tenant that left after a few months, and didn't provide notice, and left several thousand in damages.
Family owned a restaurant building. Tenant paid first month's rent and never again. We weren't first in line for the bankruptcy, and we had to leave the building unoccupied for months while it was sorted out in court. The court didn't give a shiat about us. Ultimately, we leveled that place and it's now a parking lot for the adjacent property. It was a successful restaurant for a couple decades, but for the last 20 years, it changed hands every few years.
We sold all commercial property except for one, and for some reason that guy prefers to keep paying rent... has had a store there for my entire life.
It's a crap shoot!

The best one (imo) was “Do Not Open: Tom Benson Inside”.
A five minute internutz search did not reveal it to me.

They did the seller a bigger favor. Vandalism and malicious mischeif is a covered coss of loss. The insurance company is going to cut a nice check to replace all of that carpet, wood flooring, litchen cabinets, counters. missing appliances and to re=paint everything. On top of that, they will get another check for loss or rent since it was a rental property and it is uninhabitable.
Curious how many times this has occurred for insurance fraud

This is why I flip and don’t hold. I’d kill the tenant.
