A good OP, when linking a long read, has a few selected quotes from said link.

He has some valid points, but at certain analysis he is using data that’s already a month old, other areas he is making favorable assumptions without proper data to support it, also no discussion of actual estimates of infected people presently. All This is the kind of analysis you do 6 months after this shite is over that uses all available data and is peer reviewed.
This is a few good points massaged by a stat guy to give an impression, which is actually what he does for a living.
By the way, it has already mutated twice

Good article. A similar conclusion has been found by Dr. Ioannidis, one of the top epidemiologists in the country. Coronavirus disease 2019: the harms of exaggerated information and non-evidence-based
measures
Conclusion from his article:
measures
Conclusion from his article:

If COVID-19 is indeed the pandemic of the century, we need the most accurate evidence to handle it. Open data sharing of scientific information is a minimum requirement. This should include data on the number and demographics of tested individuals per day in each country. Proper prevalence studies and trials are also indispensable.
If COVID-19 is not as grave as it is depicted, high evidence standards are equally relevant. Exaggeration and over-reaction may seriously damage the reputation of science, public health, media, and policy makers. It may foster disbelief that will jeopardize the prospects of an appropriately strong response if and when a more major pandemic strikes in the future.

Good read, and confirms that I think the governments are over reacting. Quarantine the boomers and at risk people, let the rest of the world continue to move. This isn't worth crashing the world economy.

Nice to see a per capita graph. We are definitely handling this much better than Italy.
