So if vents are the end all be all let’s look at some other numbers.

The average Covid patient is spending about 3 weeks on a vent. 95-96% of Covid patients being placed on a vent die in the hospital.

So from a cost benefit analysis let’s look at some numbers.

Say over the next month 20% of the US population is infected. Even though this is unlikely let’s use that number. With 75% of patients showing no symptoms at all. Of the symptomatic patients ~ 5% are critical. And of those that are critical only ~5% are surviving.

If my numbers are right that comes out to ~43,750 patients that could possibly survive the vent. That’s also not assuming that if there was a vent shortage some of those would end up getting on the vent anyway. Let’s say between 35-40000 people that theoretically could survive would die.

So even with these worst case numbers, are people ok with the destruction of our economy, and government overreach to possibly prevent 40k deaths?

I don’t know the answer

What makes Fauci the end all be all and immune from questioning regarding all of this? I am not willing to destroy myself based only on the gospel of Anthony of DC. Anthony gets paid no matter what happens. His decisions along with Mother Birx are affecting decisions that impact REAL people and that our politicos run with. We should and must ask these questions. These people work for us, they need to be held accountable.

Anthony Stephen Fauci ( /'fa?t?i/) (born December 24, 1940) is an American immunologist who serves as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and as a member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force addressing the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic.

As a physician with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) of the United States, he has served public health in various capacities for over fifty years. He has made contributions to HIV/AIDS research and other immunodeficiencies, both as a scientist and as the head of the NIAID at the NIH. The New York Times called Fauci "the nation’s leading expert on infectious diseases".[1]

There’s more info on his education and background if you require. Keep in mind this is all readily available information.

Some of you really know how to bring some unintended levity to this situation.
