Which ones do you have? Tree Runners? If you’re a 1/2 size, would you recommend going up a size or down a size.
Yes tree runners.
I’m an 11 and got an 11. Perfect fit.
Again, I won them. I’d have a hard time paying that much the first time for casual shoes, if I didn’t know how much I liked them.

They’re pretty comfortable. The standard kind are wool but they’re breathable. Good for all but extremely hot weather.

If varsity sports is still open, in early mid 2000s they used to give shoe recommendations based on analyzing your gait. It was wild. I walked across the room as they watched, and recommended mizuno. Fit like a glove and comfortable as heck. Might want to give them a call.
Not sure what you’re looking for exactly, but twisted x has some comfortable shoes.

Allbirds for running around town, Brooks for running

I wear club C's or vans. I also like the Nano's for Reebok but they can look goofy. I don't mind looking goofy though.

Adidas Ultraboost are the best shoes I've ever worn, look on Stockx for all the colorways or just grab a basic pair from footlocker/Hibbett

Are you looking for a pair of athletic shoes to wear casually everyday? Even when you are doing nothing athletic?

For those in early 40s that aren’t quite ready to take the plunge

adidas. Had a pair of the old green/white ones I wore slap out back in the day. Picked up another pair a few months ago and they’re still great

I hear these things called Yeezy are all the rage now.

The most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned were a pair of new balance. I forget the number. The worse pair is these brooks. Maybe I have the wrong size or something but I may as well be barefoot when I wear them.

$75 at Academy
$60 at Kohls
Comfortable and can be washed in bleach with no damage.

ASICS Gel Venture Trail Running Shoes. Roughly $50. Perfect. On my feet a lot and they are about as comfortable as shoes can get. Have had then about a year and no wear yet. Highly recommended. And no, I don’t run in them. I save that for my Mizuno’s

Make sure they look good with your cargo shorts.

Brooks are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned - their Ghost is nice and light (really all of their shoes are) and the Glycerin is like walking around on pillows all day.
If you’re looking for zero drop then I’ve always defaulted to Altra - they look a little funny but I won’t go hiking/trail running in anything else. I haven’t tried their road shoes but I got my mother a pair for her birthday a few years ago and she’s been buying them for her track walking (5+ miles daily) ever since.

I rock these NB. Can't be serious on those over 40s previously posted.
