Ever think sometimes you’re just being made fun of?

I got this situation at the mill.
See I’m younger, and all of my colleagues are 7-8 years older than me.
And sometimes i just don’t fit in.
I’m here at 27, drinking cold ones on the weekend, hanging out on the river.
They’re spending weekends at Little League tournaments and whatnot.
They don’t say it to my face but they definitely leave me out of things sometimes.
Group smoke breaks, lunch, after work drinks to watch the game.
What should I do y’all?

Well befriending a bunch of subordinates isn't going to help with that. I'm very close with my coworkers, but if I wasn't it wouldn't really bother me.

You’re 27 and you’re worried about high school shite like this? Just because they’re not your pals doesn’t mean they’re making fun of you. Go to work, do your job, and do it well, and in time you’ll get the respect that you seek.
