No but once I was out of town and the hotel was booked up so i drove up the exit ramp for the parking garage and slept in my car in their garage. Felt that was safer than just on the street.

Hotel lobby bathrooms are a great place to take a #2 on the road. That's where the desk manager goes, so you know its going to be clean.
Also at JFK I have been known to hop on random hotel shuttles from the terminal if my hotel isn't fast enough. As long as you get on a van going within a block of your hotel. Easy.

I had a friend who'd come to town on business occasionally and call two of our friends to meet him at his hotel for breakfast. They never paid.

I tried to do this one time and the clerk questioned me if I was a guest, asked for my room number and to see my room key. The damn closest gas station bathroom was so damn filthy it looked like it had shite plastered all over the damn walls.

Used to go to a staybridge across university to do laundry for free and have breakfast. Stay past 12p and they had two free beers. Walked in like I belonged...was never questioned.

I usually book Embassy Suites when traveling with the family just because the free breakfast would cost at least $60 at IHOP.

Bread of several varieties, hard boiled eggs, cold cuts and a variety of cheese. Those of you who know some shite know that a sandwich ain't nothing more than some bread, cold cuts and cheese...make about 4 extra sandwiches per person every morning, get a beer and eat sandwiches all day...my wife and I spent nearly a month in Europe in 1996 and spent less than $3k all in...we ate sandwiches in parks and in front of monuments with a cheap bottle of wine or a couple of bottles of beer or water....can't really make a sandwich at a US motel lobby breakfast....
For me, that sounds not fun.
