They don't know. It's like we are playing virus Clue - he was exposed at the Walgreens, on aisle 2, with the toothpaste. I can not refute what you are saying.

The U of Alabama testing of all students found nearly 1% infected.

Everyone is exposed.

Rip the band-aid off.

Jesus. People are dumb.

I know a few schools that are already curtailing attendance after only a few cases.

Here in Louisiana, one gets what they pay for and when it comes to schooling, it's going to hurt your pocket book. Sucks

It's only a matter of time
Wait till everyone heads to the beach Labor Day weekend and there will be an outbreak just like after Memorial Day and July 4th

No, they didn’t.

There are quarantining for two weeks because a significant number were exposed.

It’s a precaution not a reaction

Honestly, HS kids are taking the most precautions while at school. Spread is going to occur off campus at a much higher rate than on campus. They don’t really care once they get home - they aren’t wearing masks or social distancing.

First, it is so hard grasping that public education in Louisiana is so shitty that people pay $25,000 for their kids to go to church school.

Second, that sucks. Feels like a bait and switch, almost.

To be fair, Episcopal has better academic credentials than any public school in the country.

Couldn’t a school just take no precautions, let everyone be exposed, have a few weeks of people being sick and then not have to worry about it the rest of the year?

Seems like it would be worth it.

That percentage was not allowed to enroll until they quarantine.

As I stated before, I'm paying a lot of money to teach my kids. Lord, help them.
