Epiphany: nearly every modern technological invention to aid women being equal to men

1. car crank to self starter
2. power steering
3. Automatic vs manual
4. Self driving vs 'wtf are you doing?'
5. Microwave (help her cook faster)
6. Cell Phone (talk more)
7. Social media/Dating apps (so they can find a mate without going out to bars, safety)
8. Calculators (bad at math not a worry anymore)
9. Computer Applications (to do all the data processing, 'do the thinking for you')
10. Word processing/ spell check (easier to type)
11. Uber so you dont have to know how to park
12. Roomba so you dont have to vacuum
Maybe I was just high, but had one of those sudden clarity clarence type moments where the underlying trend showed itself....that what is 'selling' are things that make society equal...like what the Gun did to fists as far as giving smaller people an equal ability to defend themselves against larger people.

There are a lot of dudes who can't do these task.
I guarantee you that the average male college student would have to call someone to come change his tire if he had a flat.
This is all probably a result of stupid people in general.. Not because of one sex.

ex. Power based tools opened job options to those who would normally not have the physical capabilities to perform the task, who also, in the beginning were commanding far less wages.
So the initial motivation was to give less expensive employees the ability to perform tasks that they were unable to perform previously, which would increase the profit margin.
Over time, efficiency et al was worked in, but was not the motivation. Like the repeal of slavery was less about "rights" and more about Northern voting power. In hindsight we can choose to see things with rose colored glasses, but it's a bit disingenuous.

How about all the increase in 'benefits'? More sick days, vacation days, health insurance, comfort animals at work, maternity leave, lactation areas, etc.. all developments trend toward 'helping' women stay/thrive in the workforce.
