Not a lawyer, but depending on the wording of the bet, "www.secrant.com" is not "tigerdroppings.com" so he could use SECRant as a type of purgatory, not quite heaven but not exactly hell type hybrid to mitigate his withdrawal symptoms.

dang, see, that should have been #1 on my list. Everything to make it easier to work instead of being needed to stay home.

All it's done is flood the labor market keeping salaries respectively lower overall.

There’s some truth here. And it’s a fact that most development of modern appliances and food preparation (and now delivery) has been driven by the fact women are working too and don’t have time for all that stuff.

How much of your "work" is actually done by a proprietary computer application that processes the information you enter?

My position is similar as I work in funding, but my actual work load is in data analytics and building/altering compliance dashboards to catch mistakes other people in my position make entering data....into a computer application that does the "hard stuff"

Feminism was made possible by the clothes washing machine

Washing clothes took an enormous amount of time before. Add in prepared/processed foods cutting down on cooking time, and housewives suddenly had a lot of free time to feel existential and unfulfilled, perfect targets for radical feminists whose goal was to destroy the traditional family

guarantee you that the average male college student would have to call someone to come change his tire if he had a flat.

The average male college student would pull up a how-to video on YouTube and figure it out.

But you would still have to call somebody since a tire probably weighs more than you, Chris.

Sheer lunacy. And a shocking lack of knowledge of history.

Those are all inventions or creations meant to streamline life and make otherwise difficult tasks more efficient. Has nothing to do with people being stupid, weak, or lazy.

Dumbass.

If you’re serious, you’re totally overthinking this. I mean Uber? Really?

If you’re joking, yeah some are kind of funny, like cell phones and calculators.

Have you ever actually changed a flat tire on the side of the road?
