As a woman, I don’t understand spending a fortune or jewelry or accessories.

its a lie created so the women can sell it after they get caught fricking jodie 6 months into the marriage.

its sad but true, but its all about the money for everyone else other then the people involved.

question any women looking to sell their ring why they didnt just give it back to him and all you get is righteous indignation at the thought of giving it back when she changed her mind

Save your Money. Are you REALLY gonna let some advertising gimmick created by jewelry companies tell you what to do? Get something you like and your think your lady will like and don’t worry about the cost.

When I was shopping for rings (9 ish years ago) they were the online outlet that bought all the loose diamonds that didn't show well at the big stores and sold them at a discount.

I think they have now grown to become much more reputable than that and are the biggest online diamond retailer.

You can get your best deal at a pawn shop….seriously.

If you are looking for a new one, first decide what you want as far as cut, color and ring design….then go for the other attributes to figure out what fits in the budget you decide. I’d say $12k-14k for the pair. Talk to a few jewelers and figure out the things they say in common, then you will know what to look for

Buy two rings. A $2500 ring and 2 months of your salary. Give her the 2500 ring first and see how she reacts. If she’s happy give her the other ring and marry her. If she complains say goodbye and move on.

Find a used one online, she’ll never know and they lose 80% of their value when you walk out the door

Go just under a carat. .91-.95 round cut. Princess cuts and pear etc. lose fire.

Clarity is better than size in what you're looking for. Clarity VS1 and up.

F and up in color.

There are jewelers who sell out of their home. They have no overhead. I have one and get great jewels at a fraction of the cost. He sells estate jewelry mostly. He lets me take what I'm interested in to be appraised and then I buy or not. I got lucky finding the guy through a colleague. Maybe you can figure out how to find one.

And don't believe all the bullshite about how much to spend. You make 120? Do not spend even 20k. You're getting fricked. I haven't bought a diamond in 10 years but you needn't go over 8-10k.

With marriage so heavily lopsided towards women now, why bother playing this dumb game? I didn't even get a ring. A couple weeks after we got married, my wife picked out a couple rings on Etsy. We spent less than $100 and now people know we're married by looking at our hands. Done. There are better things to spend our money on.

I paid a little under $7k for my wife's. All custom, 1ct center stone, 1.7ct total weight. I made sure to find out what she liked about each of the rings we looked at and incorporated that into the design. She still loves it. I also made sure she wasn't a thieving whore before I asked her to marry me. That's more important than what ring you buy
