This wouldn't happen if people weren't raised to be told they were special.

I was never told I was, I just knew I was.

Yeah, no.

My wife tried to convince me to get our dog certified as an emotional support dog. Little fricker can't even behave in our own house, so bringing him out in public would have been a situation like this waiting to happen.

If traveling with my dog, I would try to drive as much as possible, but if I had to fly, I would hate to put my dog in a catch leaving him in cargo.

Would be a traumatic experience for the dog, and there's no guarantee the dog'll even end up in the same country as me.

I agree with this sentiment. The catch I have is I’d like to hunt with my dog in Alaska. That’s not necessarily the most feasible way to travel. I’ve considered getting my hunting dog certified just so I wouldn’t have to risk him being killed or
Injured in the cargo hold.

There needs to be an improvement in traveling options for those that choose to travel with dogs. I just can’t trust airlines with a part of my family let alone a living investment like my hunting dog.

Or you could just leave your dog at home.

This bringing your dog everywhere thing is narcissistic nonsense

That would at least give the dog a chance to get a new owner that isn't a fricking twatwaffle.

If you had a family member afraid to fly, then you wouldn't make them fly. You and the guy above are selfish arse holes. Find another way to get your animal somewhere.

Surprised the dog hasn’t been accused of homophobia yet.

Oh. I agree to an extent. The only reason I would bring my dog on an airline would be to use it to hunt with. I don’t understand those that feel the need to fly everywhere with their pets.
