I fully against anyone who puts anything other than necessary contact info in their signature.

It's corny af...but if it's your personal email address, then do you...

But putting that shite in your work email signature block would be just plain unprofessional imo...

We don't do it...

Makes me think of a chain baby/child store in Austin called,
“Once Upon A Child”.

Who thought that was a good idea.

This made me think of The Bosses Wife starring Daniel Stern. IIRC there was a shady character named Carlos, and his voicemail greeting was “Hello, this is Carlos, frick you.”

Love when clients do it because it tells so much about them. Now, for me and my team; contact info with no cell number and if you’re comfortable, a photo but that’s it.

You’re work email represents your company not yourself so if the organization you represent allows and supports you to represent yourself before then, I’m happy to let you do it but you e already started one step behind.

The first rule of negotiating is don’t talk first. In business, too much is a negotiation so why talk when you don’t need to?

Here's the deal.... Nobody and I mean nobody gives a frick about your email signature quote. It's not going to change anyone's day or make any impact on anyone whatsoever. So just stop.

My employer creates and mandates our email signature. I don’t care about having one but I do like the fact that no individuality is permitted. Kinda shocking since this is a CA based company with the requisite fruits and nuts in the upper levels.

This just doesn’t seem appropriate for an email salutation. I get what he’s trying to say, but the wording can be misconstrued

Guy I used to work with had the quote from Blood Meridian.

he sounds like a loser lol

The Judge is a supernatural badass so it resonates coming from him, but it hits a little different coming from Bill over in accounts payable

I work for a massive fortune 10 company and last year they sent out signature requirements

Basic stuff but they also had “suggested content” and said to put our pronouns. F that shite. I didn’t do it. About 40% of people did/do

You should add that as your e-mail signature.

This guy has an MS in Medical & Veterinary Entomology and an MPH (Masters of Public Health/Industrial Hygiene). He's got a blackbelt in judo, and in his spare time is a lecturer at Mercer. He is truly one of the most odd people I know.

if you don't have your pronouns in your sig I won't even respond

Our company encourages their use, but I'd say maybe 30% of people have them in their sig. But, wait for this, I had to get IT involved in an issue I was having last week and the She/Her that was helping me also has Queen after She/Her.

Be who you want, I dont give a frick as long as you do your job, but Im not calling you queen.

Now that I think about it, as a white guy, can I call her queen? I honestly dont know the rules for that one.
