I respect the hell out of Elon as a visionary. He’s done more for space travel in 10 years than the rest of the world has done in 30+. That’s without even mentioning his contributions to battery technology and, yes, AI.
That being said, I think you have to take a lot of his off-the-cuff tweets with a grain of salt. Maybe it’s truly a security issue, or maybe he’s just being petty and/or impulsive. Neither would really surprise me.

I think Elon’s on the right side of most issues and respect his criticisms of OpenAI and Altman. That said, I’m really curious how his GrokAI (which trains on X data), Neuralink, and FSD fit into the picture and wonder if those things will have proper oversight. If xphone comes out with starlink I think people would definitely migrate.
