Why blow 50 billion to drive a company into the ground? It was stupid to buy Twitter anyhow because he doesn't like policing of content.

It all goes back to when someone on twitter posted a picture of him shirtless and everyone made fun of his pasty white dad body.

So, he decided to buy twitter so no one will ever make fun of him again

He was backed by a lot of Saudi money who would love to sink Twitter. You have to wonder if they aren't covering some of his losses in a backroom deal.

That Saudi money was invested in Twitter before Musk and at first tried to block the Musk purchase. They simply carried over their shares the same as Jack did with his $1 billion worth he still owned so technically it was less money Musk had to actually pay out to buy out all of the original shareholders.

No one has to wonder that because it is BS you just made up. Once again you prove you are talking out of your arse and have no idea what you are saying.

This is what he tweeted then deleted this morning.

Yeah… everyone in the past that has bet against Elon Musk has been right.

This guy is typically playing a completely different game than everyone else. They are playing checkers and he is playing chess. They are getting ready to try and triple jump and are about to find out the rules they played by no longer apply.

MMcgrath can be daft on all things political, but SA definitely has some interesting takes with Twitter.

And not just Saudi. Authoritarian countries around the world would love to shape twitter. Plus, Elon's been wading into China/Taiwan politics, Russia/Ukraine politics. Foreign influence is just as likely as the 5-D chess idea.

Nope. Believe it or not, Elon cannot afford that strategy. He needs to make twitter work, and I bet he does.

Who can they direct 5000 clients to that has the traffic of twitter?

Twitter was ranked like 14th in daily traffic when compared to other social media sites. This was before Elon took over, now I think they have dropped to the 16 - 17 range.

So a bunch?
