frick off. Call me when a white guy dumps a black girl’s body in a ditch with meth in her system and we can have an honest discussion then

Spoiler: not fricking happening

If I was that girl’s dad, I wouldn’t want the news to cover it. I would want the story to go away. She embarrassed the family in so many ways here. Her death was inevitable. She would have already been dead to me.

No one gave this story the time of day and it was a white girl.

The only reason we are discussing it now is someone posted a thread on this site.

This is an old story that barely made the news.

I agree with you and fair point. The majority don’t give this story the time of day. But I do think the minority that so is racial in nature. But that’s kinda normal human nature really

If I've learned anything from all the true crime shows I've been forced to watch over the years it is that a grieving family is often willfully blind to certain....truths....regarding their departed family member. When questioned they often paint the rosiest of pictures, leaving out the messy bits. It is like a funeral/obituary, a bad person has never died according to those.

I'd imagine the girl's history came up in the investigation. That history will not be put on display by a grieving family.

I'm willing to gamble she had a history of drug use/abuse of the very drugs in her system.

Probably so. Her life wasn’t the easiest.

Correct. Second Degree Murder (La. R.S. 14:30.1) only requires the distribution of the drug that causes death. But they may not have evidence of where she obtained the drugs so no charge.

This reminds me more of the story (I think it was out of BR) where the ER DR doctor who ordered "hookers and blow" and OD'd and the prostitutes kept partying and then stealing his shite. I don't think they got murder charges, either.

That was a bit different. The ER doc had a long drug history and even had his medical license suspended over his drug abuse.

I'll wager 100 SFP dollars that's the same as the poor girl who died in this story.

Meanwhile a fentanyl peddler is free. What would you suggest?

I'd say hold the fentanyl dealer down and force feed him his own product, then watch him OD, foam coming from his mouth as he goes blue and is no more.

No Narcan for him today.

Then hang him from a fence to show what happens to fent dealers

How many "fentanyl dealers" do you think know they are "dealing fentanyl"?
