Ummm yes he made a deal with the CCP so he could produce cars the government pimped to consumers. He's owned by communists. He's as special as his cultist following.

Starving to death is a great motivator to work vs. sitting at home collecting over a thousand dollars a week in unemployment benefits.

Shocking I know

Do I think we need a bit of an attitude adjustment here in the US? Sure.

But frick everything about putting China on some admirable platform when it comes to how their people work. They work that way because the CCP works them like slaves to the CCP for barely pennies. They often work 16+ hour days with no vacation time, no overtime, etc.

Is he saying the Chinese government rocks or the general culture of Chinese people rocks? There’s a major difference there.

This is how I took it, not that he’s talking about the government there (or here) but rather the drive of the Chinese people to improve their lives vs the complacency of people here in the US who want improvement without having to work for it.

This and its probably true. Also, a lot of these corporate guys that want more immigration...THIS is a part of that. They're obviously looking to take advantage of wages but the average American worker has become complacent and entitled. Everyone wants a raise, everyone thinks they do the most work, everyone thinks they exceed expectations, they want full packages, bonuses, healthcare, etc.

Sounds like you’re describing millennials perfectly.

I guess you neither want these things or you’re the ONLY ONE who really deserves them cause, ya know, you’re the best employee ever.

China may have ambitious people, but most of their advances from internal companies are built on the back in intellectual property theft from the west.

Musk has bad opinions sometimes. I’m sure he wants something from China. In this case he is right about much of NY and CA and wrong about China. I’m not sure why this is supposed to twist me into some sort of ideological pretzel

No mention of Muslim Camps in China, but Musk did speak out against this administrations Muslim Immigrant ban. Musk seems perfectly okay attacking the US government bodies , but is very quiet about China .

You'd think the NBA was the only outspoken American business in bed with the CCP .

Elon wants to run factories where the state will arrest anyone who questions his methods.
