The late 80's/early 90's was almost 30+ years ago. I'm not saying you don't know what you're talking about, but come on. Nobody is the same person they were back then. At least, I hope not. I would hope you've changed in a lot of ways.

This. She is a control and power freak. Her shows high ratings gave her a big dick to swing in Hollywood. Rumors went around a few months ago that she would purposefully make Portia late for shooting AD. She did it to show she was more powerful than them.
All of these stories started months ago. They were all specific examples of shitty things Ellen had done. Focus has now changed to her staff, but Ellen was the Grinch in the original stories.

90% of the talent in that industry are narcissistic a-holes and she certainly isn't an exception. However, everyone of those people could have found another job if they didn't like her bitchiness or if they were being talked down to. That's how people treat each other in that business.
