The HBO documentary about her was surprisingly fascinating. The amount of rich elites who backed her & her company was insane. She knew the right people in the right industry that desperately wanted a female to succeed in that field & they propped her up with so much funding only to have her throw it all away.

I read the book Bad Blood. That bitch is crazy. She was obsessed with Steve Jobs. In the book someone who worked for her at the time said that the day after he died she was crying the whole day as if she lost a dad and carried his book around for about a week.
She is a true sociopath. She went to one of her stanford professors with her idea and she (the professor) told her that the technology to do what she wanted to do was not available. It couldn't be done and she was all like "If Steve Jobs would have listened to people he wouldn't be where he is".
She faked it until she thought she would make it, but not only did her professor tell her it wasn't possible. The scientist she hired told her..
The thing is, she could have been successful doing something legit.. But it was as if she couldn't comprehend that what she wanted to do was impossible.
What Steve Jobs was doing was possible, a lot of risk involved because it involved developing, selling the idea, etc, etc, etc.. What this bitch was doing was like if someone got it in their mind they wanted to build a time machine and talked a good game to get investors to buy into this time machine.. But at the end of the day, time machines are impossible to build.

I tried to tell everyone that she hid a bunch of money away. I'm curious how she is affording this? That article is terrible and acts like she is still a billionaire while all the while she is just renting one small house on the larger estate.
But still, Theranos had a valuation of $9 billion at one time. If you can make a company into that valuation then you can certainly find a way to stash enough money away to never be poor again.

He’s wealthy, but I’m not sure he’s that wealthy. She likely still has some billionaire supporters because some people will continue to allow themselves to be scammed after the scam has already been revealed.
