That was what killed BR.

this is the truth and it happened overnight. ....literally. My employer had to close the local office and offered me a transfer to Texas which I took. Years later moved to Lafayette because Baton Rouge is done. It's over.

To the brave officer RIP and prayers to his family.

The Mayor is openly promoting an anti-police agenda.

Unfortunately there is a lot of truth to this. And if you don't believe it, you are only blinded by your own ignorance. Go look at any establishment that becomes new in town (movie theatre, malls, bowling alleys, etc.....) when the minorities move in and loiter around with no intentions on spending money it drastically hurts the business. The business does not profit because the people who will spend money will not come back because of the riff raff. Case in point my family went to a little girls birthday party the other weekend at Area 51, three women and their kids were trying to jump a man because their 5 year old kids accidentally bumped into each other. They were acting like complete heathens, all while little kids are everywhere around. Me and some of the other dads told the workers they need to get it under control quick before we did. We all left the party early and I will never be back to that place, it got dark quick. It's a shame because I really like the concept, but when you set up a public transit system to drive them there, it will turn that way. Sad.

Before anyone calls you racist, I'm here to say that this is 100% FACT.

frick BR.

Mostly liberals who believe these pos thugs can be rehabilitated.

Louisiana has the highest per capita incarceration rate in the world. Literally on planet Earth Louisiana incarcerates more people as a percentage of the population than anywhere else. We can't afford it. I hate the lowlife criminal element as much as anybody but just locking everybody up and throwing away the key isn't a long term solution.

Mayor going with the "bye bye whitey" plan? That'll teach them. I smell the revenue dropping as we speak.

I actually disagree with this. School desegregation was botched in BR. That along with cheaply built apartment complexes popping up wherever new developments began. The apartments would go section 8, and kill the surrounding area. Its happened since the 70's.

The developers in BR have built the atomic bomb of self-destruction near LSU with the over done apartments. How that area doesn't become the new Gardere, it will be a miracle. There's just too many, and TOPS won't be affording everyone to live in luxury anymore.

She and her prejudiced "think tank" crew want the "bye bye whitey" plan but have no clue how to move forward without the massive tax losses that accompany it.

Public trains are the get away cars for the shite heads.

You don't even have to buy a ticket to get on the metro link here(unlike chicago, who has gates). So they take the train for free in East St.Louis, take it to the airport, steal some shite, then head to Clayton, steal some shite, then take their free get away car home.

When the Metro was put in, crime at the airport went up 1000%. They were robbing that place and travelers blind.

But those facts are racist.

Can someone explain to me why St. George is always brought up in these threads? I don't live in BR so I don't get the reference

Until America does away with the progressive liberal agenda, senseless killings will continue to over run minority parts of cities across the country. Until we start holding individuals responsible for their actions rather than blaming this mythical establishment that only holds back thugs from getting ahead, we will never see progress. Broome is a classic example of ignorance coupled with incompetence. The real victims of the liberal agenda are the honest, hard working minority folks who are forced to settle for benefits and free shite because that's what they're taught. Disgusting.

What's confounding to me is the people that say move out of Baton Rouge, but don't leave the state of LA. Maybe, just maybe, the entire state of LA could and should be avoided if plausible. You're merely putting a band-aid over a gaping laceration by moving 10-15 miles away. Maybe the problem is with Louisiana as a whole and not this microcosm we call, Baton Rouge. Just my .02
