How was it a giant gamble?

How is a vaccination protecting other students when she is a transmitter either way?

we have 3,013 people in the hospital today, but minimize the true number all you want

Ok. When I checked your number I saw that 3,013 is correct. Also saw that we have 644k cases. So I understated the ratio. Sorry.

Name one other disease where people without any symptoms get tested en masse.

Because I am in heart failure so I felt like I had to at least try to prevent death if I were to catch the virus. The gamble was taking a brand new vaccine three weeks into launch that’s still not approved by the government because my back was up against a wall.

Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

Have you signed up for your 3rd booster? Josh was first on the list for his 3rd booster

Think you made the right choice. But i dont get how it was a huge gamble. The odds of some large side effect that wouldve negatively attacked you is probably alot less from the vaccine than it would be had you caught covid

you say that, but remember the New York Teacher’s Union throwing a bitch fit this time last year about returning to the classrooms? yeah, only about 60% of them have been vaccinated. LINK

My wife also teaches in one of the most desirable districts in Texas and has a lot of teacher friends who oppose mask wearing, aren’t vaccinated, and would absolutely not support a vaccine mandate.

If you have the need to feel safe. stay home.

And do you know why we have such a shortage? The single biggest reason is that teachers are afraid of getting COVID. My own school had a teacher quit the week before school started, because he was afraid.

100% false, Louisiana had a qualified teacher shortage BEFORE the pandemic as well and it has gotten worse as teachers have either quit, retired, or found other avenues of work

It’s EBRPSB.

If they aren’t teaching at a magnet school, I’m not sure anyone cares.

What in the hell do positive test results even mean? “We have 50,000 COVID positive cases.” And then there’s only like 100 people in the so called overwhelmed hospital

It’s amazing to me how people just gloss over the fact that Hong Kong Fluey is really only dangerous to BMI 30+ and old people. Everyone else has a better chance of getting struck by lightning while being bitten by a shark than dying to Slope Sickness, and yet will act as if you’re somehow a bad person for not needing the vaccine

So advise them to get the shot. Since the lowest risk for them is to be vaccinated and all, they should be good to go. If you feel like you need it too? Go sick bro.

I don’t need it. My wife and kids don’t need it. Anyone who thinks I need to be required to receive it is my enemy.
