Was alert from wafb. They say “more at 10” but it passed the board 5-3 vote.

It just boggles my mind that they can do this with a non-FDA approved vaccine

More and more places are starting to require their people take the vaccination.

It will be interesting to see how it plays out.

If they do this in Ascension, this highly effective teacher is out. So screwed up.

I love how it’s just “comply and deal with it”. Maybe if enough people had some balls and stood for what they believe in, they’d change their decision as their best teachers walk out the door. We don’t have enough teachers as is.

ETA: We have so few teachers and subs that when a teacher is absent we cram all those kids into our already full classrooms.. Wall to wall kids in a pandemic. It all just makes so much sense.

So we test the teachers but not students? Why test at all?

Not sure how that would go, maybe a teachers strike is your best bet

This seems very excessive. Testing weekly despite being vaccinated and asymptomatic is nuts

That’s going to go over like a turd in a punch bowl where my wife teaches.

They are begging for teachers right now. If only 25% of them say frick it, we’re out the schools will shut the frick down.

The Vaccine is one thing, but weekly tests? That’s crazy. Who’s going to pay for that?
